Man stopped in Long Valley on over-the-counter oxycodone

LONG VALLEY, NJ – A Trenton man who was recently arrested by the Washington Township Police Department while driving on Schooley’s Mountain Road has been charged by police with having oxycodone hydrochloride in his car, without a prescription.

According to a press release from the Washington Township Police Department, the responding officer first arrested the unidentified man because police said he had a warrant from Lawrence Township.

In addition to finding out that he was driving with a suspended license, the officer discovered that the man had Oxycodone in his car.

The man is currently awaiting a court appearance to respond to a disorderly people charge, the police department reported.
